The tents went up Friday, Sept. 17, on Canton Springs Road, a sure sign that the 16th annual Sam Collins Day is rapidly approaching.
Activities under and around the tents across from the Canton Volunteer Fire Co. begin with “A Taste of Canton” at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept 25. In addition to display booths featuring Canton organizations and businesses — including dotCANTON.com in space #102 — there will be a wide range of activities for children, live entertainment and more.

The always popular “Food Court” opens under adjacent tents and in the familiar red food shacks at 11 a.m. and features a variety of edibles and drinkables from local establishments. Click here for a look at who will be on hand and what they’ll be offering.
All of this activity follows the Canton Lions Club Pancake Breakfast, which runs from 7 to 10 a.m. in the firehouse across the street from the tents.
Free shuttle buses will run all day from Canton Springs Road to downtown Collinsville, where additional activities will be taking place, beginning at 10 a.m.
