Sometimes you just get lucky. Or in dotCANTON’s case, perhaps lucky in two ways.
While walking along Town Bridge Road late in the afternoon on Saturday, July 3, a quick glance to the left upon the sound of rustling leaves revealed an unidentifiable patch of white fir moving around next to a tree. First thought: skunk! But the four-legged noisemaker chose not to be shy and revealed himself (or herself) right away … and what a pleasant surprise!
dotCANTON took seven shots before the subject of the photo op decided enough was enough. Perhaps it was the flash that was going off automatically under the thick canopy of trees at that location. Here are the best five shots … one above, four below.
