The landscaping is crisp. The newly-surfaced parking lot is striped and ready for visitors. The freshly manicured, 210-year-old building beckons proudly. Six months of renovations at the longtime site of Margaritas at 144 Albany Turnpike (Route 44) are complete (see May 27 post). Owner-manager Lilly Zhao expects to be serving diners at Char Koon 1800 next week, though she’s not yet certain of the exact date.
