Like all the other dogs in town, 10-year-old Bella can only hope she'll be the lucky one to earn barking rights Thursday, July 1, in a special drawing at town hall that will determine who will wear Tag #1 for the next 12 months. All dogs in town whose licenses are renewed by Wednesday, June 30, will be entered in the drawing, the first of its kind in Canton, according to Town Clerk Linda Smith. If she wins, Bella certainly will be looking her best.
